About the making of this work

While out on the west coast near Ucluelet a hike with friends let me to Brown’s Beach, a narrow channel with lots of logs washed up the beach and cedar trees leaning in to reach the sun. I soaked up the scene, carefully making photographs to recall every detail upon my return to the studio.

Materials and Process

We use archival, museum-grade canvas with incredible shadow density and sharp detail. Prints are coated with a UV protective coating, essential for long-lasting artwork, and then mounted on professional grade 1.5 inch wooden stretcher frame, arriving to you ready-to-hang.
